There are also many private schools (religious or secular) across America where parents pay tuition so their children can get a unique education. Beyond high school, US citizens have numerous choices for post-secondary education, such as vocational/trade schools, community colleges, and four-year colleges and universities.

Many USAFIS clients have been able to move to America and gain access to these educational programs.

There are approximately 5,300 post-secondary educational institutions across America. Vocational/trade schools have a variety of short-term programs that provide training for a range of skilled occupations. Community colleges make post-secondary education very accessible, as they are relatively close to most people who live in the USA; enrollment requirements are easier than universities; tuition and fees are affordable; and there may be an option to transfer to a four-year college or university.

According to multiple assessments, the United States has the highest number of the world’s top 100 best universities.

Earning an undergraduate or graduate degree at a college or university in the USA can provide many great opportunities for naturalized US citizens and their families. USAFIS is proud that many of its clients live in the USA as new American citizens.
